Selecting the right turfgrass for golf course projects is definitely not a “one size fits all” process. Atlas Turf has the most extensive selection of licensed and certified turfgrasses to choose the right variety for the job.
Celebration Bermudagrass and Latitude 36 Bermudagrass for roughs, fairways, and tees offer a dark green color, exceptional sod strength, and allow for flexible mowing heights. Celebration is especially drought and salt tolerant, and Latitude 36 is extremely cold tolerant.
Mach 1 and Sunday are both ultradwarf bermudagrasses for greens and tees. As newer, more advanced varieties, they offer consistent color, rapid establishment, and smooth surfaces. Mach 1 delivers exceptionally fast greens and responds well to growth regulators. Sunday manages like a dwarf and feels like a bentgrass.
For gradual turf conversions through interseeding or for projects with importation or cost constraints, Atlas Turf also offers seeded bermudagrass varieties.
